Charleston Reception Locations
Here are some area reception locations. Some will double as ceremony locations as well.
- Alhambra Hall
Alhambra Hall is Mt. Pleasant's most popular reception location. It is also a great place for an outdoor ceremony under the grand oak tree. Alhambra books a year in advance, so if you want it be sure to get in line early.
- Boathouse at Breach Inlet
The Boathouse at Breach Inlet is one of the only area restaurants where you can see the Intercoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. The area they have for receptions can accommodate about 100 guests, but be prepared to be warm. Their back porch gets direct sun and is pretty hot if that is where they have you set up.
- Boathouse on East Bay
Another Boathouse restaurant, this time downtown Charleston. Great facility and easy directions and parking. You can have up to 100 here for your reception or rehearsal dinner.
- Boccis Italian Restaurant
Bocci's Italian Restaurant is good for parties up to 50 people. Very tasty food located just a block off of Market Street in historic downtown Charleston, SC.
